Answer from what the passage actually says — stay in the text.
What does this passage show me about God?
- What does the farmer do, and what does the earth do on its own? What does Jesus say the kingdom of God is like?
What does it show me about people — and about myself, my work and my land?
- Where do you carry the weight of things only God can make grow — in your fields, your children, or your faith?
What will I obey this week, at home and on my land? (a concrete step, with a day)
- What will you plant this week — in the ground or in a person — and then leave to God?
Who will I tell?
- Who have you given up on, as if their growing depended on you, who you could pray for and talk to again?
Grow
Growth is God's part, not yours. Do the cycle faithfully and trust Him to give the growth (1 Corinthians 3:6–7).
Pray
Jesus, the farmer sleeps and rises and the seed sprouts and grows, and he does not know how. We plant and we water, but you give the growth. Teach us to work hard and to rest in you.
